Ani Wangmo Tenzin

Tenzin Wangmo is a long-term Tibetan Buddhist nun–ordained in 2004–and an even more long-term volunteer–ongoing since childhood. As a volunteer she has worked mostly with children, defblind persons, and elderly or dying people. She is a cofounder of a hospice and an interreligious group called Svetovni etos. Her yearning for Dharma led her to university study, where she earned two diplomas and a PhD in Buddhism. Nevertheless, secular study left her even more thirsty for knowledge, so she packed her belongings and moved to Dharamsala, where she now studies Tibetan language and Buddhism.
